JustFlight and Thranda Design Releases Duchess Model 76 for X-Plane 12

After much anticipation, developer JustFlight has released its rendition of the Duchess Model 76 for X-Plane 12. A breath of fresh air for the simulator’s general aviation lover, the aircraft will feature everything from an accurately modeled cockpit and high quality textures to realistic engine performance and a customizable avionics suite.

The Duchess, created as a collaboration between JustFlight and Thranda design, is “built using real-world aircraft plans and comprehensive photography of the real aircraft”, with almost every component inside and outside the plane fully animated. In addition, users can expect the plane to be IFR capable. The aircraft will come with a “fully featured” X-Plane native GNS430 with the option for users to purchase the GTN750 separately.

Furthermore, the product will include an EFB in the form of a tablet. Pilots can use it to plan out their flights, adjust the plane’s weight and balance, and even change the livery of the Duchess on the go. The plane is also VR-compatible.

Those interested in the aircraft can purchase it for $42.99 USD from JustFlight’s webstore. For successful installation, the developers are recommending users to have at least 3GB of free space on their hard drives.
