Microsoft Flight Simulator Releases World Update XVI

The Microsoft Flight Simulator team has released a new world update, improving the Caribbean with new points of interest, improved satellite imagery and digital terrain model, and seven hand-crafted airports.

The brand new update will bring Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos, and the United States Virgin Islands up to the highest standard, with aerial photographs, satellite data, LiDAR data, DEM data, and DTM data.

As usual with the world updates, it also adds seven hand-crafted airports: Gregorio Luperón International Airport (MDPP), Antoine-Simon Airport (MTCA), Sangster International Airport (MKJS), A.N.R Robinson International Airport (TTCP), North Eleuthera Airport (MYEH), and Les Saintes Airport (TFFS), in Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Bahamas, and Guadeloupe, respectively.

The package also includes three discovery flights (Santa Lucia, Saint Martin, and San Juan), three landing challenges, an epic landing challenge, and three bush trips showcasing the region.

The update is free for all owners of Microsoft Flight Simulator and is available right now on all platforms.
