A new week brings a new edition of No Money Mondays. Today, we are exploring Italy, specifically the city of Bologna, and taking a closer look at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport, created by manuele.
The original airport in Bologna opened in 1933 and was located just 500 meters from the current site. It served its purpose until the 1970s when it became too small to accommodate growing air traffic, leading to the construction of today's airport. The airport has one main terminal, which underwent expansion between 2011 and 2013, bringing the total number of gates to 24. While it primarily features the airlines of Ryanair and Neos, it also serves a variety of others, such as Wizz Air, British Airways, and KLM, offering destinations like Amsterdam, Rome, Oslo, and many more.
The freeware rendition of Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport for MSFS includes various features, such as an updated representation of the airport, custom models, PBR textures, and much more.
You can download this rendition of Bologna Airport from flightsim.to. If you're craving Italian cuisine, just hop on a virtual flight to Bologna and indulge!
