Airfield Canada Previews Halifax-Stanfield, Releases Sydney/J.A. Douglas McCurdy
Canadian developer Airfield Canada has shared some new previews of their first large-scale airport for X-Plane: Halifax-Stanfield International. This follows the release of Sydney (Nova Scotia)’s main airport, named after John Alexander Douglas McCurdy - the holder of Canada’s first pilot license.
Regarding Halifax, the developer wrote in an X-Plane.org Forum post:
“At this time, extensive modelling and ground textures have been completed. No price or ETA yet, but we know you're going have some fun with this package with the time comes!”
The initial plan was to release the scenery as freeware, but this was cancelled due to an undisclosed sum of investment in the scenery maker, so now the airport will be released under the payware marquee, though donors will get a free copy of the project as soon as it is released according to the developer.
