Aviotek Simulations Shared Renders of Frankfurt
Well-known scenery developer for X-plane, Aviotek Simulations, have taken to their Facebook page to share the latest set of renders of its newest project, Frankfurt Airport (EDDF) for X-plane and MSFS. The screenshots highlight the attention to detail that has been paid throughout the whole airport within all its complex buildings that were shown.
The development team said the airport will come with full PBR textures, custom animations (including jetways), and tons of details upon its release.
Responding to a user's comment about 4K textures, the team responded that textures could be set to the user's performance, with 4K textures subsequently causing a loss of FPS on lower-end computers with less VRAM.
Frankfurt am Main Airport is the largest airport in Germany and is the main air gateway to the country, serving the most international destinations in the world, totalling 275 destinations in 111 countries. With movement totalling about 60 million passengers and 2 million tons of cargo in 2019, the airport has operations for every pilot.
Like many large international hubs, Frankfurt has its own railway line to transport passengers and workers between the three passenger terminals
The Aviotek Simulations team stated that they will soon be releasing screenshots with the scenery inside both simulators.
