COLIMATA, creators of the F/A 18 Super Hornet, have released a preview video of their upcoming project, the Concorde. The video's release coincides with the anniversary of the first flight of the Concorde, 49 years ago.

In an accompanying forums update, Florian from COLIMATA said;

Hi guys, today, 49years ago, Concorde did its maiden flight.

So I created a little birthday video, that shows you the development stage of the project.

This is work in progress footage, especially on the external model.

We are continuing to build a solid base for this great bird that can be used for a long time.

As last time let me clarify again that Version 1 will be a great realistic aircraft but with reasonable system depth.

If there is enough customer interest, version 2 with much deeper system integration is our goal. It will take however another approx. 1.5years after the release of version 1. Deep system logic takes a long time to develop (like pumping fuel back and forward manually).

As said in the post, Florian plans for V1 to focus on exterior and flight model, whereas V2 will bring greater system depth to the aircraft. Responding to earlier replies on the topic, Florian said that "ETA is 9-12 months for v1.0." so possible release could be around Q3-4 this year.
