JustFlight and Thranda Design brings the Beechcraft Duchess to X-Plane-12

JustFlight announced production of the Beechcraft Duchess M76 for X-Plane 12 via their website. JustFlight in co-development with Tharanda Design aims to bring a highly detailed rendition of the aircraft to X-Plane12 with Research and development based on two real world aircrafts. The Duchess is an twin engine low winged T-tail aircraft. It shares a similar design to the Piper Seminole and is often used for twin engine flight training.

Taking its first flight in September 1974 Beechcraft produced approximately 437 units up until1983. The aircraft is still popular amongst flight schools to this day. Just flight and Tharanda Design will focus on the Model 76 as the first release in this newline of aircraft. The Model 76 is powered by two Lycomoning O-360 piston engines. Featuring two bladed constant speed propellers for each engine.

The props rotate in opposing directions for ease of control during single engine ops as well. The Model 76 cruises around 158 knots with a service ceiling of 19,650 ft and range from 780 – 900 nm. JustFlight and Tharanda Design includes features such as 8k interior and exterior textures with PBR materials rendering. The Duchess will include an EFB and include interactive animations customizable features, and interactive check lists and more. No firm release date for the the Duchess but the duo indicates its that's not too far off from being ready for release.
