It's been some time since we last covered the endeavors of Felis and the ongoing development of his upcoming 747-200 - since then the project has progressed very quickly, with cockpit modelling advancing leaps and bounds in the last few months. The developer behind the smash hit TU-154M for X-Plane 10 announced the 742 for version 11 of Laminar's sim back in May 2018.

The 747-200 development thread sees near-daily progress updates from the developer, the latest of which showing off some modelling on the individual indicators present in the cockpit of the Queen of the Skies.

"One monster is done :)"

Cabin modelling has also been shown off recently - here are a few we compiled of the passenger area onboard the 200:

An interesting tid-bit of information Felis provided on the dev thread is the planned inclusion of a custom failures system. He says "it didn't go good enough" with his TU-154 and plans on redoing it for the 742.

You can follow progress of Felis' 747-200 project on the development thread, or check out the announcement article for more information.
