Scenery developer FLY X Simulations has fulfilled their promise to release their third X-Plane scenery, Lanzarote, today as suggested on their Facebook page yesterday.

Located in the Canary Islands, Lanzarote is a tourist hot spot and particularly popular with British charter airlines.

The X-Plane rendition has been in the works since February 2018, when the developers initially considered the payware route. They have since decided to release the scenery as freeware.

As per their last development update, the scenery features PBR ground texturing and HD building textures, a staple of good scenery design in 2019. At that time, the developers were still working on adding details such as cracks, dirt and general wear and tear to the apron.
