Fenix Simulations Updates A320 Lineup for MSFS 20/24

Fenix Simulations has recently issued another update – the third in the span of a few weeks – to their A320 lineup (A319/A320/A321) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, adding Quality of Life improvements and warranting further stability on both platforms.

Update 2.3.0.541, very much like the previous update, primarily focuses on improving the stability and usability of the add-on in both platforms, addressing issues that would lead to CTDs, improving the robustness of displays, fixing pause at the top of descent, further improving the loading and unloading of the product in MSFS 2024, and wholly mitigating a clickspot issue in the EFB, also a 2024-only issue. The complete changelog follows below:

Avionics and Systems

  • Wired auto brake indicator to the BSCU functional test performed when the gear is lowered
  • Fixed some computers going through the full boot process when loading a quickstart
  • [2024] Improved loading/unloading of Fenix (should prevent it from restarting mid-flight, and issues with the main menu)
  • Improved robustness of displays
  • Fixed multiple crashes
  • Fixed missing track line on ND when not managed
  • Fixed pause at T/D
  • Fixed Throttle n Axis (0 to 100%) not working

EFB

  • [2024] Fixed keyboard input not working
  • [2024] Fixed EFB clicking being unreliable and often requiring multiple clicks
  • Fixed takeoff performance being unable to compute for low temperatures

Their product lineup is available on their website for roughly $114 (at the time of writing).
