FlyTampa Updates Athens International Airport to Version 1.7

FlyTampa has recently updated its Athens International Airport (LGAV) to version 1.7. This new version includes a range of fixes, improvements, and additional features. The most notable update is the compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, in addition to maintaining compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The scenery has undergone various enhancements as part of these updates.

Some new features included in the update are improved terraforming, an extended solar farm, a newly added general aviation ramp, enhanced compatibility with MSFS 2024, and much more. See the full changelog below:

  • New Aegean logos on Hangar 56 and Hangar 57 
  • Solar Farm extension
  • Re-worked and improved Terraforming

  • Heliport elevation raised
  • Added green centerline for new ramp
  • Static Hellenic 747 model moved to new position
  • New animated radar on control tower
  • Updated Libraries
  • New brighter taxiway green lighting 
  • New Baggage handling building supporting new parking
  • New Security checkpoint near FBO building
  • Improved FS2024 compatibility
  • Many more improvements and tweaks
