Released: FlightWorld's Freeware LERL
Adriana from Flight World has today released Ciudad Real Central Airport (LERL) for X-Plane 11. This is her third freeware release for X-Plane, following the releases of Lubango Mukanka (FNUB) and Oujda Angads (GMFO).
Ciudad Real Central Airport is located about 200km from Madrid, Spain. The airport closed in April 2012 and subsequently went into receivership. LERL was the first privately owned international airport in the country, with developers forking out over 1.1 billion Euros to build. Ryanair, Vueling and AirBerlin all flew into LERL, but all withdrew routes in 2010.
In FlightWorld's rendition of LERL, all buildings have been custom made for the airport, matching real-world images of the airport. Keep an eye out for this developer in future!
LERL by FlightWorld is available for free on their website. You can find FlightWorld's Facebook page here.
