Orbx-aligned Gaya Simulations has followed in the footsteps of their publisher and is the latest to confirm development for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, in a Facebook post published a short time ago.

"Addressing the elephant in the room: Microsoft Flight Simulator," they begin.

"Since yesterday's announcement, we've received a bunch of questions regarding our positon with Flight Simulator 2020 and it's imminent release. Firstly, we'd like to congratulate the team at Microsoft & Asobo for all of the work they've done to product such a wonderful simulator for all to enjoy.

"Secondly, we're pleased to unveil that ALL Gaya content will be making the jump to the new simulator."

The developer revealed that the choice of Berlin-Tegel Airport was influenced by Microsoft Flight Simulator.

It appears as though this has had some prior thought, as the developer then revealed that both the Berlin-Tegel and Florence projects were hand-picked to fit in with 3D cityscapes present in the new simulator.

It's unclear whether the same thinking was present behind Gaya Simulations' third announced airport, Kristiansand.

In regards to the other platforms in their repertoire, the developer maintains that developments for X-Plane and Prepar3D will not be affected by the addition of a third simulator, despite claiming that all sceneries will be developed independently of each other and natively for each platform. The company attributes this to it's large workforce compared to other developers, which comes in at more than 40 full time employees.

Gaya Simulations rounded off the post by promising further information about a new pricing model 'soon'. It is not clear whether they will be offering upgrade pricing.

Being that Gaya Simulations' products are published on the OrbxDirect platform, it's likely that their products will also be selling on Microsoft Flight Simulator's in-game marketplace, as announced by Orbx in their statement on FS2020 earlier today.

With this news coming so shortly after that of Orbx, attention turns to others aligned with the company as to whether they too will make the leap to Asobo's platform. Partnered addon makers like Parallel 42 and Pilot Plus are yet to confirm their future.
