Hype Performance Group has announced that their next project is another Airbus helicopter, the H160, for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The announcement comes a week after they posted a teaser photo of the silhouette of the helicopter on their Discord server.

The Airbus H160 helicopter is a medium utility helicopter that was introduced in 2011, and was designed and engineered to bring many features from modern airliners and fixed wing aircraft, such as advanced avionics and autopilot systems, to a helicopter. The H160 production also borrowed many techniques from the Airbus A350.

On the product page, Hype Performance Group says that this is their most complex project to date, and will include a myriad of features, including, but not limited to:

• Two variants included, civilian and luxury
• Highly detailed textures and PBR
• Rotor downwash effects
• In-depth simulation of Airbus Helionix Avionics
• Electronic Flight Bag with integrations with many third party programs
• Four-axis Autopilot, with features like Auto Takeoff
• Accurate flight model
• Realistic sounds
• Compatibility with MSFS 2024
