In a Twitter post, British aircraft outfit Just Flight have teased a brand new project for X-Plane: an Avro Vulcan, which was released for Prepar3D in late 2018. The new aircraft is part of their campaign to bring aircraft over to Laminar’s sim, aided by conversion brand Thranda Design.

The Avro Vulcan was a four-engine, British-made strategic bomber that was used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) during the Cold War. The first aircraft was built in 1952 and the last one in 1965. 136 of the bombers were built over this period.

Just Flight shows the first pictures of the cockpit where you can already see very well progress on texturing and modelling. A time frame for release has not been published yet, nor does the aircraft feature on the group’s website at this time - though an “in-development” page is promised soon. As always we’ll keep you up to date on any new developments on this aircraft.
