Verticalsim Announce Omaha International Airport For X-Plane
Verticalsim has announced development for Omaha International Airport for X-Plane. Omaha Airport, commonly known as Eppley Airfield, is an international hub serving the city of Omaha in the state of Nebraska, United States. Being only 3 miles northwest of Nebraska’s largest city centre, Omaha Airport serves as the perfect entry point for passengers entering Nebraska.
Being home to the Union Pacific Railroad, Verticalsim has gone the extra mile to include modelled rail bridges and other VFR landmarks, providing a highly detailed rendition of the airport and its surroundings. Verticalsim has also made use of the latest and greatest PBR technology to provide stunning textures for models throughout the airport and beyond.
Along with the announcement, Verticalsim also released a list of features set to be included in Omaha international Airport.
- 2021 Airport Layout
- Models and textures utilizing the new and greatest PBR technologies
- Some city VFR landmarks
- Out-of-the-box compatibility with most orthoimagery
- SAM (Scenery Animation Manager)
- Animated ground traffic
- High-res 0.8ft resolution imagery
The addition of out-of-the-box ortho compatibility goes perfectly with Verticalsim’s Vstates Nebraska. In other Vorthos news, Verticalsim also announced this morning that Vstates Nevada is now available on Google Drive. Pilots who use Fly Tampa Las Vegas will need to download the tile patch for full compatibility.
