Our good friend and developer Santiago has sent us some fantastic new previews of a major update to Nimbus Simulation Studios' Chicago O'Hare (KORD) scenery. We first reported on the incoming update earlier this month but progress has largely been kept under wraps by the developer, that is, until now.

One of the most striking changes is the addition of a new Winter texture set. The update also adds more ground vehicles and fixes a few bugs with the scenery post-release of v3 in September.

The developer affirms that this will be a free update to all owners of Chicago O'Hare version 3, and also says he plans to release it in this coming week.

Also in the works at Nimbus is their first helicopter, the infamous Huey.

Along with the images, Santiago has also provided us with the changelog for the update, which you can see below:

Changes:

  • New Winter texture set
  • More ground support vehicles
  • Concourse L extension
  • Extra miscellaneous buildings
  • More trains around the airport
  • Fixed taxi signs and other bugs

If you haven't already purchased Nimbus Simulation Studios' Chicago O'Hare V3, you can do so here. Alternatively, see more about KORD v3 on our previous article, which has further exclusive shots of the scenery.
