Microsoft has recently released its latest world update, World Update XVII: Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The new update includes 10 TIN cities, 116 POIs, and three hand-crafted airports.

The updated cities include Linz, Salzburg, Vienna, Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Hanau, Karow, Potsdam, Bern, and Zurich. They have been significantly improved using recent aerial photographs and TIN surface modelling. Thanks to the new update, flight sim enthusiasts can explore a variety of cities in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

Also included in the update are a total of 116 points of interest (POIs). In Austria, a total of 38 are included, 42 in Germany, and 36 in Switzerland. The three new hand-crafted airports are Salzburg Airport, Munich Airport, and Bern Airport. Each country in the new world update has received its own new hand-crafted airport.

The new world update is available for free on the in-Sim Marketplace.
