Milviz Shares Upcoming Plans for 2022
During an extensive live stream event, Milviz dropped their plans for 2022, including details on aircraft that are currently in the development pipeline or are in the process of being put into development.
During the live stream, Milviz first addressed its PC-6 Porter aircraft which was released back in September and was well received by the community. Milviz addressed its Stage 2 development with features including a float version of the aircraft, analogue gauges, and more, which is set to release in Q2 of this year. The developer also mentioned their DHC aircraft series, which they hope can be released in the same quarter as the aforementioned PC-6 expansion. Though no further comments on this line were made, the developers did disclose that no release date is set in stone.
After these comments, the team made comments on the A-1H Skyraider, which was announced to be on short final for release. No release date has been decided, but the development team expects it to release in Q1 of this year. Alongside this, comments were made regarding the upcoming ATR aircraft and its recent delays. Milviz has contracts with both corporate and military customers, which have slown further development on entertainment aircraft such as the ATR, however, the team did comment that progress is being made.
Finally, the developer announced upcoming aircraft that are in early stages of the development process.
A total of 3 aircraft were announced; the Bell UH-1 (Huey), the SR-71 Blackbird (which was previously announced to be in development), and the Cessna 310.
During this announcement, it was said that the team were hoping to release their Cessna 310 in Q1, but Q2 was not ruled out as a possible release period. The Huey is set to be released in Q3.
