Now that the TrueEarth GB series is completed, the developers, Orbx, have released a demo package to show off the scenery before you buy. The TrueEarth GB series is split into 3 parts, South, Central and North. The trio of releases was completed in January with ‘North’ dropping on the 30th.

In a post on the Orbx forum, Aimee Sanjari shares the details;

“This demo spans 1,625 km2 from Poole in the southwest to Petersfield in the northeast, and contains a wealth of interesting points of interest (POIs) which have been faithfully modeled in 3D and placed in their exact real world position. This makes VFR flights in the simulator like flying there in real life, because what you expect to see out of the cockpit is actually there.”
