Orbx have formally announced through their forums that EGPB Sumburgh airport is coming to X-Plane 11. We reported the possibility of this airport coming to X-Plane last week, after Orbx appeared to accidentally publish the product pages of three unannounced airports - Sumburgh was one of them.

The airport is to feature:

• Includes the stunning "Fitful Head"
• Fully custom modelled airport
• Detailed models of surrounding landmarks
• High Definition ground polygon
• Complex car animations in 3D
• Realistic rendition of light sources on all 3D objects
• Superb airport night lighting
• Fully integrated with TrueEarth GB North

The airport will cost AUD $32.95 (approx. GBP £18.15 / US $23.40 / €20.65), and FSX/P3D owners will get 40% off as always. TrueEarth GB North is not required to use this scenery, but is recommended.
