Origami Studios Announces Gatwick Airport for X-Plane
Following a successful release of their Scottish Aviation Bulldog for X-Plane, Origami Studios has been working behind the scenes to bring the latest rendition of Gatwick Airport (EGKK) into X-Plane.
Gatwick has been lacking an updated rendition in the X-Plane simulator, with the latest scenery for the airport being released by UK2000 in June 2018.
Origami Studios has promised that their recreation of Gatwick would feature “updated 2019-2020 configuration, 4k PBR ground textures, moving ground-traffic, SAM compatibility, realistic lighting and more.”.
As stated by Origami Studios Gatwick Airport is a vital link between all London Airports and is extremely unique with its single runway operations, making it Europe’s busiest single-runway operating airport.
No further details have yet been provided by Origami Studios in the means of a release date or pricing. Threshold will make sure to bring you the latest news on the developer’s Gatwick airport as soon as it’s available.
