Parallel 42 has recently made a social media post teasing the “continuation of their legacy” with their popular Immersion Package making a surprise return in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Their immersion packages were popular in P3D and FSX, improving the simulation experience with popular aircraft add-ons such as the PMDG 737 and the Aerosoft A320 with wing condensation effects, volumetric lighting, contrails, jet wash, fuel overflow, and more.

While there’s still no information on which of these features will be available for their Microsoft Flight Simulator version, they seem enthusiastic about bringing it over to the new platform and pleasing their old-guard customers with something strictly different from their approach to the new simulator so far.
