The team over at PilotPlus have today announced their next project, EGLC London City Airport for X-Plane. The post was sent out to subscribers via email and on their Facebook page.

London City Airport is the 5th ranked airport in London by passenger numbers in 2015, and is the most recent, being completed in 1987. The single 1,500-metre runway isn't the only challenge when flying into LCY. The airport also has 5.5-degree glideslope due to surrounding buildings, whereas a typical glideslope angle is ~3 degrees. Because of the steep approach, the largest aircraft allowed to fly into or out of LCY is a British Airways A318. The A318 operates the only transatlantic flight from LCY on its EGLC - EINN - KJFK route.

Back in the XP world, PilotPlus, developers of Gatwick, Ibiza and Geneva, have shown us some previews of the London City terminal and control tower on their Facebook page.
