Following the release of their first "Definitive" airport in August, the second field in the new series has been revealed to be Wycombe Air Park, located in south Buckinghamshire.

Only 30 miles from Central London, the air park is a change of pace from the commercial field of Bristol (EGGD) released previously, with only small aircraft capable of landing at it's 735 metre main runway or two smaller grass strips able to visit.

Pilot Plus developers give a short introduction to High Wycombe and its' air park in a blog post on their website:

"We’re proud to announce the next location to be launched in our Definitive range is London Wycombe.

"High Wycombe sits in the Buckinghamshire countryside, surrounded by a classic British setting. The airpark, formerly used as a training base in WW2, has a thriving general aviation community and is used for daily operations by many.

"Pilot Plus’s London Wycombe project will cover the airpark itself in extensive detail, as well as the surrounding area including VFR landmarks. The final product is set to be stunning, featuring our Definitive seasons and of course, it will blend seamlessly with True Earth."

Besides the asset renders released today, there isn't much information around London Wycombe for X-Plane 11, though it wouldn't be unsafe to predict a release of this winter due to Pilot Plus' previous, speedy record.
