Pilot plus has taken to their website to announce and provide previews for their newest scenery in development for Microsoft Flight Simulator, London Oxford Airport (EGTK).

Located North of Oxford, the field is primarily a hub for general aviation and business travelers. The airport also boasts the largest training academy on the continent. A variety of companies also operate at the airport, such as Airbus Helicopters, Leading Edge Aviation, and more.

The developer promises an “extremely accurate” rendition of the airport and has confirmed that they worked closely with airport management. It was also stated that the team used an on-site visit and “were able to collect reference imagery first hand.”

According to the developer, “The final environment for flight simulation will capture the vibrant atmosphere at Oxford and look stunning with modern rendering techniques,” especially with photogrammetry coming to the area with Microsoft Flight Simulator’s next update.

The developer provided no further information, such as a feature list, and while no release date or pricing information was given, the developer did mention that the “price and release date will be announced soon.”
