Released: Microsoft Flight Simulator Famous Flyer Six, The Ford Tri Motor

Asobo has recently announced the launch of the Ford Trimotor for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This aircraft is a significant piece of aviation history, with about 200 built in total and made its first flight in June 1926. Even today, approximately 6-8 of the Trimotors are still flying, one offering rides during EAA Airventure Oshkosh. Its unique design features a corrugated metal fuselage for added strength and rigidity, along with three radial engines, making it easily recognizable in the skies. The Trimotor can accommodate up to 12 passengers and can cruise at around 100mph. The Trimotor's three engines were a safety feature, ensuring redundancy and building public trust in flying as a mode of transportation. The team has done an excellent job recreating this iconic aircraft, as showcased in their release trailer on the Microsoft Flight Simulator YouTube channel. Asobo is giving this one away free June 23 to June 30!!
