After a long silence following some internal issues in their scenery design brand, Rohan Kuner’s RIM&Co has returned to the spotlight with the release of Pittsburgh for X-Plane 11.
KPIT is a rather large change of pace for the developer, who had previously released such airports as St. Helena and Uluru/Ayer’s Rock.
The airport has a size of 3561 hectares and the complete area is modelled in 4K quality. The scenery was created on real-world pictures which give you a realistic feeling when you are in your favourite aircraft. SAM is also integrated at most of the gates for moving jetways and more.
For the most realistic experience, the developer has included a file for simulating the real traffic, of which there is plentiful at the regional hub. It's also optimised for night traffic, which means special lights and environment for night operations.
You can find the airport in the X-Plane.org Store here for $20.99 USD, discounted from $24.99 USD.
