X-Aviation-partnered brand Maxx-XP has shared a new preview of the group's upcoming 4.8 update to their weather addon SkyMaxx Pro. Breaking a bout of silence since mid-December, John Spahn and Co. have given us a look into the development of 4.8 via the Maxx-XP Facebook page.

"We are quietly chugging along on V4.8, there will be some bug fixes and now user selectable cloud textures for the 3 major representations."

Attached is a screenshot of three different cloud type selection windows, with one for cirrus, overcast and cumulus clouds.

The aforementioned December status update also touches on v4.8's development, and was released soon after that of SkyMaxx 4.7, something you can learn more about in a previous article. The image attached shows a similar in-sim window with selectable cloud sets.
