Taxi2gate Releases Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport for MSFS
Taxi2gate has recently released their rendition of Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (TFFR) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, their first scenery for the “new” platform, originally announced a week ago.
The airport serves the city of Pointe-à-Pitre on the island of Grand-Terre in Guadeloupe, a french archipelago. It’s a hub for Air Caraïbes, the local airline, which offers fourteen destinations (as of 2022) in Central America and Europe, where they have another hub (Paris-Orly). Curiously, Air France has two A320s in TFFR for regional flights. They offer five destinations in total.
The scenery features an accurate rendition of the airport as it stands, with custom ground textures, custom photo scenery, custom mesh, carefully detailed 3D objects, realistic ground markings, numerous static objects, night lighting, a tridimensional interior, and PBR textures.
It’s available on SimMarket for roughly $21.38, requiring at least 1.01 GB of free disk space to install.
