TorqueSim Announces CitationJet C525 Release Date
X-Plane developer TorqueSim has announced the release date of their CitationJet C525. The aircraft has been in development for over five years and is slated for release on December 12th at 17:00Z
TorqueSim has stated that the aircraft will be “study level”, and says it will include a fully custom Honeywell avionics suite designed to closely replicate the functionality of the real-world aircraft, including immersive sounds, as well as a highly detailed cabin.
The CitationJet family includes the original C525, along with the C525A, B, and C variants, each of them having their own submodels. The aircraft depicted in the simulator is the original Model 525, which had its first flight in 1991.
The CitationJet is part of the Take Command! product line sold on the X-Aviation store. It has previously featured the Cirrus SR22 G1000 series by TorqueSim. The developers, who started in 2018 are also the ones behind aircraft like the Take Command! SR20 and BN-2 Islander.
The Take Command! TorqueSim CitationJet C525 will be exclusive to X-Plane 12, and will be available for purchase on the X-Aviation store on December 12th at 17:00Z for $84.95.
