Thirdwind Simulations, a new collaborative venture between veteran developer Nervegas and flight sim content creator BurstixTV, has announced its first project: the Fieseler Fi 156 Storch. The announcement was made on the MSFS forums and featured a preview of the current 3d model being shown in Blender.

The Storch was a liaison aircraft developed for the German Ministry of Aviation in the 1930s. The original aircraft was powered by an Argus V8 engine and had a range of 210nm at a cruise speed of 81 knots. The Storch was retired by the German military but went on to serve with French forces until the 70s.
