ToLiss Announces A340-600 Release Date
ToLiss Simulation Systems has taken to their YouTube channel today to share a new highly-awaited update on the release date of their A340-600. The video shared today showcases details such as the cockpit, wings, engines and landing gear.
The ToLiss A340 is the latest highly anticipated project from the Airbus developer, following the developer’s previously completed projects including their Airbus A319 and A321. Toliss’ latest addon was a new NEO expansion for the Airbus A321 adding new options such as the A321 NEO LR & XLR, allowing users to fly longer range with the single-aisle airliner.
Today's video announced that the release of the ToLiss Airbus A340 would be the 25th of October 2021, which falls on a Monday.
ToLiss started their development journey with the Airbus A319, which is now a few years old, the age of the aircraft does not mean that that it has not seen many updates, as the aircraft is one of the most popular within X-Plane and receives continuous updates adding to functionality.
The A340 is the first and most iconic quad jet from Airbus, the -600 variant is the longest of all variants produced of the long-haul airliner. Notable unique features of the-600 variant include the lavatories being downstairs and the cargo hold on specific airline configurations.
Further details on the A340 are yet to be shared such as a feature list, but it is safe to assume many will be comparable with their A32X products. It is interesting to note that the MCDU shared in the trailer features an ATSU option on the screen, possibly hinting to further datalink options coming in the future down the line.
ToLiss progress can be followed in their Discord Server.
