TorqueSim/RealSimGear announced earlier today the development of the Cirrus SR20 for X-Plane 11, the developer who recently introduced the successful Take Command! SR22 G3 series for X-Plane is now expanding its Cirrus fleet of aircraft by developing the SR20.

The developer who is developing an entirely new fully custom engine model to implement the Continental IO-360-ES engine found on the aircraft, while the model seems very similar to the SR22 on the surface they’ve had to significantly revamp the aircrafts 3D model and modify the systems to match the real Cirrus SR20 G3.

The aircraft will be sold separately from the SR22 but a discount code to those who already own the SR22 on release day will be given, the aircraft is expected to be available in a few weeks. The developer also noted that the aircraft is designed to work perfectly with the RealSimGear G1000 and Cirrus Perspective line of hardware.
