Aerosoft Twin Otter Releasing January 19th
After announcing the aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator over a year ago, Aerosoft has taken to their forums to formally announce the release date for their Twin Otter in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
As stated by Aerosoft, the product is being built from the ground up, and will not be a conversion from their former Prepar3D version. As well, the developer has said they are utilizing the “latest standards” for the development of this product.
With 3 DHC6-100, and 10 DHC6-300 models, as well as a variety of liveries, the aircraft is expected to release on January 19th for Microsoft Flight Simulator at a price of €29.95. It must be noted, however, as the aircraft is not a simple conversion, Prepar3D owners of the Twin Otter will not be subject to a discount and unfortunately, there are no plans to support the PMS50 or the GTN750.
For more information, view the Aerosoft Forums where testers are seen sharing various videos and previews of the aircraft. As well, any developmental progress for the Twin Otter is shared via the same thread.
