UK2000 has launched their latest product in it’s “HD Range” for MSFS, Cardiff International Airport (EGFF). Situated in the capital of Wales, Cardiff is a vital link to the whole country seeing flights from many major airlines to wider Europe.
UK2000 have taken an eye to detail in Cardiff, with many small details such as a 3D interior included in the control tower and the Pier. Further features include customised jetways to match those at the airport in real life as well a variety of local static aircraft which has been populated.

Historically, Cardiff International Airport was used for a wartime satellite aerodrome and training base, named RAF Rhoose. Only after World War II in 1951 did the British civil aviation minister identify that there should be a large commercial airport in the region. The first commercial flight took place in 1952, connecting directly to the Irish capital, Dublin. In 2019 the airport set a record number of passengers, having handled 1.66 million people throughout the year.
