Located on the Danish island of the same name, Vidan Design have decided to tackle Bornholm Airport as their next for Microsoft Flight Simulator, a short couple of days after releasing Billund Airport for the same platform.

Bornholm is quite the change from Billund, seeing only one commercial route year-round. It acts primarily as a hub for VFR traffic.

"This Danish airport located on the beautiful island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea means something special to me. I traveled all the way from Aarhus just to take pictures for the original version for FSX," the developer wrote on Facebook. "Since then the airport staff members has kept me updated on changes at the airport and sent me pictures."

"I'm really looking forward to make this airport available for MSFS!"

The scenery will also include renditions of the nearby city of Rønne and village of Arnager, the developer saying that the scenery will have 'a few landmarks outside of the area.'

"But it will be a scenery mainly focused on the airport itself, like the FSX version."
