UPGRADE NOW! DON'T RUIN YOUR SIM!

Laminar Research has just released the third beta of VR compatibility for X-Plane, bringing fixes to many significant issues introduced in VR2, so its definitely wise to upgrade to the latest beta for better and smoother gameplay, I suggested you update now to the newest public VR Beta! Major critical bugs have been fixed, so that your simulator doesn't crash, or so that any files are not being corrupted and everything runs smoothly! Here is a list of things you should know if you are still on V2:

• VR2 won't launch on some versions of Linux due to a plugin DLL problem.
• The HOTAS Warthog causes the sim to crash if it is plugged in.
• If you have any hardware that doesn't calibrate or crashes the sim, file a bug report!
• Many plugins may crash the simulator. If it happens, file a bug report!

Overall, everyone is advised to update to V3 as quick as they can, to avoid any issues with their simulator. After that, have fun flying in VR!
