Verticalsim's latest product, Sarasota International Airport (KSRQ), has been released for X-Plane 11, adding to their growing collection of airports based in the United States of America.

Located on the west coast in Florida, KSRQ has one 5,000 feet runway and another 9,500 feet in length. Last year, nearly two million passengers passed through the airport, with airlines such as Allegiant Air, JetBlue, and Delta Air Lines, amongst others.

Although the airport requires Scenery Animation Manager (SAM) to be installed, the airport is compatible with the developer's VStates Florida, as well as Orbx TrueEarth Florida. This is on top of:

  • PBR on buildings and ground textures
  • Ambient Occlusion + photorealistic texturing
  • 3d grass (matched color to ortho)
  • Full gate position support (all gates are available to spawn)
  • Full WT3/Traffic Global and LiveTraffic support
  • Custom night lighting
  • Custom edited ortho imagery
  • Good/solid FPS on all systems
  • Ground objects (pushback trucks, GPU’s, Air conditioning units, etc.)
  • Custom trees hand-placed (about 500+ around the airport)

A manual is also available for download. The price of the airport is US $18.00, and it is available to purchase from their website.

Verticalsim is available to follow on Facebook.
