In a post on Facebook, VSkyLabs developers have shared new cockpit previews of the group's upcoming recreational seaplane, the ICON-A5 by ICON Aircraft.

The X-Plane rendition of the amphibious light-sport plane was formally announced just over a month ago, however has been in development for over a year. As such, the developers predict a release date sometime in March 2019.

VSkyLabs provides near-daily development updates on their projects, so there is no lack of information surrounding their latest aircraft. The most recent updates speak of virtual reality testing, flight dynamics adjustments and the looming goal of testing an emergency parachute system to be implemented in the final release.

The developers say that a product page and Pilot's Operating Handbook for the ICON-A5 will be available in the coming days.
