Russian developer, HighSkyTech Simulations, has released a statement about the development of xAmbience Pro.

The post on the X-Plane.org Forums, released by Egor from HighSkyTech was said to not be an update, but instead “a statement on current works”.

In the post, HighSkyTech says that xAmbience Pro is moving to the test stage, meaning it could be available in a few weeks if all goes well. The developer also claimed that they have added all the features that were originally promised at the start of development.

HighSkyTech also states that after switching to a new framework, they are able to make light scattering more realistic. An example of scattering given by the developer was: “the cockpit lighting will now be warmer in Dubai and colder in Moscow.”

HighSkyTech left a summary at the bottom of the post, stating that development is continuing at an accelerating pace, and if all goes well it will be released in time.

HighSkyTech’s progress can be followed in the Discord Server or on their website.
