To celebrate their ten-year anniversary, X-Plane aircraft developer, Aerobask, has released the DA42 NG for X-Plane 12. This release comes ten years after their first-ever payware release, the DA42, in 2013.

The release of the DA42 NG comes just after their ViperJet, which was released in September of 2022. The aircraft adds to Aerobasks' ever-growing list of Diamond aircraft, with the developer previously having released the Diamond DA50 and DA62 for X-Plane.

As is expected with Aerobask products nowadays, the DA42 NG comes with a host of custom systems, such as synthetic vision, a simulated oxygen system, fully functional breakers, and much more. A complete feature list is viewable below.
