Aircraft developer Carenado have debuted their latest X-Plane project; the Cessna 172 Skyhawk. The announcement comes off the back of a very successful release in late October, that being the S550 Citation II.

Carenado have provided us with very little information about their rendition of the C172 SP, other a promise that it is 'coming soon'. Following patterns from previous releases gives us a predicted release window in the next week or so.

It will be interesting to see how the Carenado C172 will stack up compared to X-Plane's existing range of 172's, such as those from Airfoillabs, SimCoders and the default aircraft from Laminar.
