Orbx Releases Molde Airport (ENML) for Microsoft Flight Simulator
After the Norwegian airport launches, Orbx Simulations announced on its Facebook page the release of Molde Airport (ENML) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery brings the team’s expertise to the Norwegian city of Molde with high-quality PBR textures, bespoke interiors, and the cityscape.
In typical Orbx fashion, the developer equips the airport with the usual features you usually expect such as custom satellite images of the airport and surroundings, highly detailed LNG facilities, with all structures essentially receiving consistent attention to detail, all of which are decorated with PBR textures. In addition, the night lighting of the runways and custom taxiways have also been faithfully implemented. The complete list of features can be found on the Orbx product page.
The airport adorns the same name as the city it serves, located 3 miles from the city. Molde is situated on the Romsdal Peninsula, and houses roughly 7,000 habitants, the urban conglomeration is popularly known as “The City of Roses“. For the airport, it’s situated on a plateau, and unlike some of the other nordic releases, the airport is one of the less challenging destinations with a straightforward approach and departure - catered with the airfield’s relatively long runway. Its primary traffic are Widerøe's ATR's 72 and the A319's of the Swedish SAS.
Molde Airport can be purchased from Orbx for AUD 22.72. The developer recommends that the user has about 4 GB available for the product
