It's Monday once again. This week's instalment of No Money Mondays features the fantastic SFD Boston scenery posted by MisterX6. Originally released in 2016 and updated in 2023, the scenery includes Boston Logan International Airport and the surrounding area.

Opened in 1923 and named after General Edward Lawrence Logan, Boston Logan International Airport (KBOS) has six runways and four passenger terminals. As a big hub for JetBlue and Delta, the airport serves over 40 million passengers each year, making it one of the largest airports in the United States.

I was impressed by the modelling and texturing of SFD’s airport rendition. The taxiways and runways have great textures and the terminals are beautifully modelled; however, no interiors are visible through the glass. The city is no slouch either, though it is missing some details.

The scenery features detailed and accurate airport modelling, with custom ground textures for taxiways and runways. This is enhanced by ortho scenery for both the airport and the surrounding Boston area. The scenery includes animated airport vehicles, ship traffic through the GroundTraffic plugin, marshallers, and jetways via the SAM plugin. Additionally, iconic Boston landmarks, such as the Bunker Hill Bridge, Tobin Bridge, and Fenway Park are featured.
